igus® Inc. today announced its recertification by the National Quality Assurance, USA (NQA) against the provisions of ISO 9001: 2000. igus' quality management system, applicable to its Energy Chain® cable carriers, Chainflex® continuous-flex cables and iglide® plastic bearings, was assessed and approved by NQA through the year 2011.
ISO 9001:2000 specifies that igus, by way of its quality management system, demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements. It also states that igus aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
